About Us

Romi FauziHi, my name's Romi Fauzi, and have always been passionate about game development. Even since I was little. Before realizing my interest in game development, as any other kid, I played a lot of games and often wondered how all those games were created. One day around 1992-1993, my mother said one thing that made a huge impact in my life:

“If you want to create games, you should learn how to program”

Soon after, I started learning BASIC language programming. It was different era back then. Our computer was a 8086 XT model and BASIC was the only programming language we had. Also, I was 9 years old then.

Despite my best effort to understand the concept, syntax and the logics behind programming at that time, it was just too complex for a 9-year old, so I decided to stop. All I did, was retyping a code from a programming magazine, and tried to run that. But honestly, I didn’t understand the codes, not one bit.

I wanted to carry on and not long after, I accidentally found a game authoring engine. No programming knowledge required! I started designing game, which brought me to learn 3D animation.

In 2013, I was introduced to Unity and after 7 years of 3D animations, I decided to once again pursue my childhood dream. Game developing has never been easier with Unity and Hutonggames Playmaker (add-ons for Unity).

In case you were wondering, what does the name "Milkish" mean, it's an acronym of the names from my three kids.

As of now, I am working in a small studio that I set up with my friend Romen and Arif working on game development.

We provide services for clients to develop games as well as develop our own games.

My name is Romen. I live in Jakarta,Romen-low-res Indonesia. Im a game developer, CG artist and Producer. I studied computer science focusing on game development in Gajah Mada University.

I started my career in the 3D animation industry as a CG artist.I have worked on numerous projects ranging from TV series, TV Commercials and Feature films in Indonesia. Mostly doing Visual Effects and Characters. But ive also worked on other CG field, like Fluid Dynamics, Crowd Simulation, and Particle dynamics. Along the journey of my CG animation works I still manage to use my knowledge and skills on programming.

Mostly doing scripting for 3DS Max, Flash Action Script, Javascript, and also PHP for web development besides being a CG artist . Ive also worked as a CG supervisor and Producer on my latest animation projects. In that I supervise and manage team of artists to deliver the work to the clients. The clients ranging from local to regional brands and advertising agencies.

Then about a couple of years ago I started jumping into Game Development using Unity 3D. Doing the programming and also the art side of the work. From modelling, texturing, rigging and skinning, animating and also coding the logic using Unity's C# language.

So i could say that Im an artist and an engineer all at once. And for the past year Ive been working remotely for a New York Indie mobile game publisher as a programmer and CG artist. Working on several titles of mobile game. In the meantime, I also managed to do some work for local clients on Virtual Reality Application for events. And also Augmented Reality application.

As of now, I am working in a small studio that I set up with my friend Romi and Arif working on game development. We provide services for clients to develop games as well as develop our own games.
